FibroCorp is transforming recycled wastepaper into the packaging industry’s next standard.

Our Story

FibroCorp traces its roots to a diverse industrial enterprise founded and owned by founder Paul Zhang, with decades of experience in large-scale paper making, five printing facilities, two power-generation plants, and two district heating systems serving entire cities. In 2006, building on this broad industrial foundation, Paul Zhang established a dedicated R&D center focused on developing pulp-molding technology using recycled waste paper as its primary raw material.

By 2012, FibroCorp has been established and has developed our first self-designed automatic pulp-forming machine and subsequently established demonstration manufacturing operations in Wenatchee and relocated operations to Tacoma, Washington in 2017. The technology and resulting molded-fiber products were introduced into commercial supply chains serving major retailers, including Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Kroger, Target, etc.

In 2022, FibroCorp entered into a strategic transaction with Tekni-Plex, under which Tekni-Plex acquired certain Fibro assets and licensed Fibro’s molded-fiber technologies. The transaction expanded the technology into the fresh-food packaging market, including advanced smooth-finish molded-fiber packaging applications.

Building on nearly two decades of pulp-molding research, engineering, and manufacturing experience, FibroCorp then expanded its technology into industrial applications. In 2023, the company successfully developed its molded-fiber pallet platform, representing a major advancement in structural performance. The technology increased load-bearing capability from approximately 0.5 tons in earlier molded-fiber applications to more than 10 tons, with performance independently tested by SGS.

Today, FibroCorp is focused on commercializing its patented molded-fiber pallet and industrial packaging technologies, creating high-performance products from recycled paper as sustainable alternatives to conventional wood, plastic, and other traditional materials.

How We Work

Our project roadmap.

Our experience spans the full value chain: from paper making and power generation to manufacturing, engineering, and R&D.

Building on this foundation, FibroCorp is now entering its next phase: scaling its technology and establishing a global platform for manufacturing, licensing, and strategic partnerships.

  1. F&B Packaging

FibroCorp started with egg cartons. Producing the only 24-egg molded fiber carton.

  1. Molded Fiber Pallets

With the ability to withstand 10+ ton load capacity, while using only low-grade waste paper as raw material.

  1. External Packaging

Our next big move to achieve net-zero supply chains. More information coming soon!
